Arpan Sharma Kattel
Arpan Sharma or Arpan Sharma (Kattel) (Nepali: अर्पण शर्मा वा अर्पण शर्मा (कट्टेल), born 5 Feb 1990, Jhapa) is a sharp minded Nepalese youth who has claimed the Guinness Book of World Record title in 'color detection', and 'Longest Sequence of Objects Memorized in One Minute'. Sharma was shown four colors – red, white, blue and black – on a laptop monitor 200 times, each color for two seconds. He was then blindfolded and asked to identify the color appeared on the laptop monitor. The four colors were shown 200 times randomly on the monitor and a blind-folded Sharma identified the colour on the monitor. He was right 165 times out of 200.
A video of this demonstration has been recorded and it will be sent to the Guinness Book of World Records headquarters for certification
Before, Singaporean, Sensi Suraj Singh, holds the Guinness Book of World Record title in identifying colors with eyes shut. Singh's record is 160 correct identifications.
Sharma remembered the arrangements 42 objects of in a minute in a program organized by Industrial And Commercial Association Damak Jhapa, Nepal.
