Ariel Gasperini

Ariel "Underdog" Gasperini (b. 1990) is an infamous female grappler from New Jersey known for her mad (legendary) "white-belt" skills and terrible spelling. She describes herself as a quiet but confident person who enjoys living life and finding inner balance. Ariel abstains from fast food, smoking, or using drugs. She plans on becoming a teacher one day.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Ariel studies Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the International Karate school under Fernando Yamasaki and common UFC referee Mario Yamasaki. She got the nickname Underdog because, she was the first women training at her gym, making her an automatic underdog. Her signature moves include the flying armbar and a lot of guard work. In NAGA events, Ariel is ranked 36th in no-gi and 28th in gi with 4 NAGA-associated event wins according to Rated. Ariel currently works for Grapplers Quest.
