Types of Services

  • thexchange – web-based platform for buying and selling voice telecommunications capacity. Member companies have access to buy, sell, and manage routes, as well as settle voice traffic in a neutral, anonymous marketplace.
  • PrivateExchange (PEX) - creates virtual interconnections and aggregates existing interconnections with corresponding carriers that have direct routes into Arbinet's markets
  • Carrier Services - Arbinet manages pricing, routing, reporting, credit risk and settlement for providers
  • Query Services - Advanced routing services
  • OptimizedIP - a routing solution that determines the best routing table by analyzing metrics across multiple ISPs through near real-time testing of packet loss, jitter and latency of each IP prefix on the Internet. This cost-effective mechanism increases quality as it allows users to multi-home with numerous major IP backbones on a Layer 2 basis and reduces the number of network connections required by traditional routing solutions such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
  • IP Solutions - Cost-effective solutions for managing ISP supplier relationships, streamlining operations and expanding network connectivity
