Apps + Frappes

Apps and Frappes (stylised as Apps + Frappes) is the personal brand and online alias of Andrea Dulko, an American product designer, technologist and content creator. Dulko uses the name for her portfolio website, blog and social media channels, including TikTok, where she shares insights on product design, generative artificial intelligence and prototyping.

Background

Dulko studied graphic design and began her career in interactive design at agencies before joining Google in 2014 as a product designer. At Google she worked across the productivity suite Google Workspace, working on the first mobile experiences for Google Docs and Slides on Android and iOS. She co‑created early AI features such as Slides Auto‑Layout, for which she holds a patent.

Work

In 2019 Dulko joined the Google Cloud AI design team and has led the design strategy for AI agents and Gemini Enterprise. Her work has focused on combining high‑quality visual design with technical prototyping to enable product teams to deploy generative agents at scale.

Online presence

Under the Apps and Frappes brand, Dulko posts tutorials, demonstrations and commentary on TikTok and other platforms. She also writes about design leadership, AI ethics, vibe coding and evaluation of AI agents. Dulko co‑organizes local meetups and has hosted hackathons for developers and designers interested in AI agents.
