Applied Measurement Professionals

Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc (AMP) (formerly NBRC Management Services, Inc.) is a for-profit private STOCK corporation located in Olathe, Kansas, which is in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Incorporated in 1982 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the non-profit National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as NBRC Management Services, Inc. to manage testing services for healthcare credentialing agencies. In July 1988 NBRC Management Services changed its name to Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. AMP provides agencies, governments and associations with examinations and testing facilities. In 1996, AMP purchased Logic Extension Resources (LXR), which now serves as the company’s LXR Division.
