Apollon Petalidi
Apollon Petalidi ( Apollon Petalidiou) is a football (soccer) club in Petalidi, Greece. The team plays for three seasons in the Fourth Division, and played in 2005-06 season until the 2007-08 season.
History
The club was founded in 1978 and has the colur blue and white and the emblem of the ancient god Apollo.
It played a championship role in the organization of the Messinia Football Clubs Association and in 2005, it left the narrow ranges of the prefecture and entered the national fourth division in which plays for three seasons. It was the time that showed a great talent Sokratis Papastathopoulos. In 2007-08, it relegated and played to the first prefectural division in the 2008-09 season. The club won the Messinia Cup.
