In 2023, Aurobindo Pharma transferred its antibiotic and non-antibiotic active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) business to Apitoria Pharma through business transfer agreements. The transfer included multiple manufacturing units

The transaction was completed on 30 September 2023, and Apitoria commenced independent operations on 1 October 2023. The company operates as part of Aurobindo Pharma’s API manufacturing segment and is associated with related group entities such as Eugia Pharma and Curateq Biologics.
