Apartment-style housing (University of Pittsburgh)

The University of Pittsburgh offers several apartment-style housing options for students.

Bouquet Gardens

Bouquet Gardens is comprised of 8 garden-style apartment buildings (Buildings A through H) that form the newest (1999) apartment-style residences at the University of Pittsburgh. Housing 496 upper-level undergraduate students in 124 units, they are located on the lower campus close to Posvar Hall, Barco Law Building, and are adjacent to Sennott Square1.

Each air-conditioned unit is furnished and includes four single bedrooms, a kitchen with refrigerator, stove and microwave, a living room and dining area, and two bathrooms.2

Centre Plaza Apartments

Center Plaza Apartments is a university apartment-style housing complex located near University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside Hospital campus at 5032 Center Avenue. The 67 units house 197 students total and the apartments accommodate from one to three students each.3

Darragh Street Medical Student Housing

Currently under construction, the Darragh Street Medical Student Housing units will provide apartment style housing for Pitt's medical students close to the medical school's Scaife Hall.

Forbes-Craig Apartments

Forbes-Craig Apartments is a university apartment-style housing complex located across the street from the Carnegie Museum of Art at 4531 Forbes Avenue. The 39 furnished apartments accommodate 102 upper class Honors College students in single or double bedrooms. A honors college staff member resides in the building.4

Oakwood Apartments

Oakwood Apartments is a university apartment-style housing complex located between Oakland Avenue and Atwood Street in South Oakland close to the heart of campus. Seventeen furnished units house 38 students in single and double bedrooms.5
