Anthony Charles Heads
Anthony Charles Heads (born 24 May 1978) is a full-time performing Mentalist and Mindreader based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Biography
Anthony Charles Heads was born 24 May 1978 in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. Anthony grew up in Fatfield, Washington, Tyne and Wear and attended Biddick Comprehensive School before studying Psychology, Media Studies and English Literature at Sunderland College in Shiney Row. He moved to London in 1996 to study at UAL, London College of Communication (formerly LINST) where he received a B.A. Honours degree in Publishing. He moved to Tyresö, Sweden in 2001 where he lives today with his wife and their two children in Tyresö.
Interests
Anthony's main interests are Mentalism and researching Forteana. He was active as a Parnormal Researcher for a number of years, visiting private homes and public places which were reputed to be haunted. He also writes short stories and fiction novels for his own amusement.
Career
In 2005, Anthony created The Stockholm Ghost Walk, a ghostly-themed walking tour of the Old Town (Gamla stan) in Stockholm.
In 2014, Anthony moved over to full-time Mentalism performance. Mentalism is an umbrella term; combining multiple disciplines of Magic with modern psychology resulting in demonstrations of behaviour manipulation, psychological influence, mental misdirection, mindreading and hypnosis.His shows include many of the core Mentalism disciplines plus elements of Spirit Theatre and Theatrical Seance.
In 2018, he was invited to contribute articles and given a regular column in the US based Mentalism magazine Mystic Descendant.
In 2019 he created and performed the interactive show "The Supernatural Experiment" before ending the year with a sell out performance of "The Spirit in the Glass" in Vaxholms Theatre, in Vaxholm.
2020 will see his first National tour for the general public with performances of "The Spirit in the Glass" in such cities as Stockholm, Sundsvall, Gothenburg and Malmö.

* The Spirit in the Glass (2014 - present) - Original title: Anden i Glaset. A Victorian themed show which explains the birth of modern Mentalism and gives demonstrations of "paranormal" phenomena.
* A Christmas Carol (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), Original title: En Julsaga. A Christmas themed show loosely based on the famous Dickens book.
* Mystery (2015 - 2016) - Original title: Mystär. A mindreading show based on unexplained mysteries.
* Are you here? (2017) - Original title: Är du här? A mentalism show that highlighted the flaws in the human senses and how easily reality is warped by our own minds.
* The Supernatural Experiment (2019) - Original title: Det Övernaturliga Experimentet. An experimental Mentalism show based on the famous Philip experiment.This performance was an example of Theatrical Seance.
