Ansarada is an Australian enterprise Software company founded in 2005 in Sydney. The company develops software used in corporate transactions and infrastructure procurement. In 2020, it became publicly traded on the Australian Securities Exchange through a reverse merger with thedocyard Limited, operating under the ticker symbol AND.

History

Ansarada was founded in 2005 in Sydney, Australia, by Sam Riley, Rachel Riley, Andrew Slavin, and Daphne Chang.

In March 2018, the company raised approximately US$18 million in Series A funding in a round led by Ellerston Capital. Prior to this funding round, the company had received less than $2 million in external investment. Around the same time, Ansarada launched its Material Information Platform, a system that uses artificial intelligence to organize corporate data for use in mergers, acquisitions, and capital raisings.

The company's public listing in 2020 followed a reverse merger with thedocyard Limited, creating a new listed entity operating under the ticker symbol AND. The transaction involved an enterprise value of approximately A$84 million and included a capital raising to support the combined company's growth.

In February 2024, the company entered into a scheme of arrangement to be acquired by Datasite, a United States–based competitor owned by CapVest, for approximately A$236 million. The transaction involved a carve-out of Ansarada's ESG, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), and board portal businesses into a separate entity. The acquisition by Datasite was completed in August 2024, and the company was subsequently delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange.

Operations and expansion

During the late 2010s and early 2020s, Ansarada expanded its international presence, establishing offices in Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa. The company’s headquarters are located in the heritage-listed Metcalfe Bond Store in Sydney.

In October 2022, the company undertook a corporate rebranding initiative involving changes to its visual identity. In 2025, Ansarada expanded its regional operations in the Middle East through the introduction of locally hosted data infrastructure.
