Annihilation Nation is a Arena-style Game Show in the Playstation 2 game Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal,similar to DreadZone from Deadlocked the Megacorp Games from Going Commando

Challenges

Main Challenges

There were two main types of challenge:

• Gauntlet- You must navigate an obstacle course featuring flame pits, falling platforms, doors, moving blocks, laser beams and enemies.
• Arena- You are put into an arena with swarms of enemies attacking. The arenas also featured flame pads, disappearing panels, electric pads, and an invincible purple turret.

Sub-Types

In each challenge, or sometimes round, there May Be something else involved:

• Weapon- You must use a specific weapon to defeat all of the enemies. Running out of Ammo will make you lose the round.
• Timed Round- You will have a limited amount of time to kill all, or a specific, number of enemies.
• Boss Battle- you must fight a powerful enemy(s).
• Sleeping Gas Round- Your health declines as you fight, and so must finish the round before you die.
• Weapon Change Round- Your weapon changes automatically and you must use that weapon until the given ammo runs out.

Sometimes, multiple types would be combined together, such as fighting a Boss in under two minutes.

Prizes won on Annihilation Nation

Apart from Bolts, some challenges will win prizes essential to the storyline of Up Your Arsenal. They are listed below:

• Qwark Vid Comic Shadow Of The Robot
• Tyhrraguise- device which allows you to turn into a Tyhrranoid and speak their language.
• Co-ordinates to Holostar Studios.
