Annabelle Cosmetics is a Montreal based cosmetics company, located at Lachine, Quebec. In 1999, it became part of Groupe Marcelle which is a well known Canadian brand selling beauty products through more than 2000 points of sales across Canada. Annabelle Cosmetics focuses on selling to consumers ranging from teens to young adults. The company is a multi-million dollar enterprise presided by David Cape, who is a well known figure in cosmetics industry.
Annabelle Cosmetics is primarily engaged in the production of lipstick, lipgloss, eyeshadows, blushes, mascara, liquid eyeliner, foundation, eye pencils, makeup brushes, cosmetics, and other toilet preparations. These products are available in popular cosmetic outlets including drugmarts, retailers and national chain stores such as Wal Mart, Pharmaprix, London Drugs and Zehrs, anomg others. Until now, products can only be bought from traditional brick & mortar stores but there are plans to offer inventory, online.
To produce innovative concepts, Annabelle Cosmetics works with internationally acclaimed makeup artist Julie Bégin, who acts as a creative consultant for the company. Serving Annabelle since 2002, Julie is part of a team which is known to promote safe, clean and cruelty free products. According to the company, none of its products are tested on animals, and does not contain any animal by-products. The brand is promoted through a variety of popular medium including musical groups. In April 2009, an upcoming local Ottawa band, Fused, was used to promote the Biker chic theme.
