Angus Wheeler McDonald

Angus Wheeler McDonald is a West Virginia farmer and formerly a candidate for the Democratic Party Presidential nomination in 1988, 1992 and 2000, always winning a very marginal support. However in 1988 he finished before one of the most serious contenders, Illinois Senator Paul M. Simon.

His best showing was in 2000, when he won 7.65% in his native state.

He was also a candidate for United States Senate in 2002 against Democratic incumbent Jay Rockefeller, but again he gain only marginal support.
