Andreiana Kalisfena Anfiia Sveski
Czarina Andreiana Kalisfena Anfiia Sveski is the current czarina of the small Russian principality of Paleostrovsk in northeast Russia, which has which has retained its monarchial status and is home to around 47,000 people. The czarina was born on November 16 1978 and inherited her position from her father upon his death from a heart attack on August 26 2003. The position of czar or czarina in the principality is almost entirely nominal, save for the tithe of taxes that is taken by the czarina.
Biography
Andreiana lived in St. Petersburg for the majority of her childhood, attending prestigious academies for her education, and opting to study abroad in Switzerland for her collegiate education at the University of Fribourg, with a major in theology. She returned to Paleostrovsk in 2002, at which point in time she began working as a volunteer at the local Russian Orthodox church, mostly as a religious education teacher. She was forced to give up the position upon taking her title, and fosters many programs dedicated to children's education. A local non-secular school bears her name and her financial support, the андреиана свески школа для религиозных и исполнительных видов искусства, or Andreiana Sveski School for Religious and Performing Arts.
The czarina is engaged to Ivan Ligir Landova, whom she has dated for almost five years; however, a wedding date has yet to be set. The couple officially resides in Paleostrovsk, also retaining homes in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and various other European cities. Most of their time is spent in Geneva. The czarina is an avid fan of tennis, cross country skiing, and literature. She heads the Paleostrovsk Region Fund to Promote Literacy, as well as advocating a number of other causes.
Her name is derived from both her familial heritage and religious figures, with Andreiana being her mother's name, and Kalisfena and Anfiia being saints. Her mother died in 1986 in a car accident attributed to icy road conditions.
