Amkette Flash TV supports NTFS, and FAT 32 file formats, allowing it to play high capacity hard drives. It can play 720P image quality through the YUV component output. From the coaxial output it can deliver 5.1 channel surround sound.
The video formats supported by Flash TV are MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (AVI/VOB), MPEG-4 (AVI/DiVX 3-6x/XviD), DVD (VOB, MPEG), DAT and MPG, RM/RMVB(Real Media). In addition it has support for photo files JPEG, GIF, BMP and audio formats MP3 and WMA.
Some of Amkette Flash TV's drawbacks are that it does not have an HDMI output and cannot support H.264 file format. Amkette Flash TV is small in size, weighs only 45gms, and comes in two colors black and white.
One interesting feature of Flash TV is that it has file management support. One can copy, delete, and move files from one storage device to another. For instance files can be copied from the memory card to a portable hard disk using the display On the Television.
