AMAX is a privately held, and ISO 9001 certified, custom computer system integration company that provides custom-built servers, graphics workstation and high performance computing systems for corporate, scientific, military, educational and governmental use.
Location & Facilities
In 1979, AMAX opened its first facility in Fremont, California. After opening its headquarters in Silicon Valley, AMAX opened additional branch offices throughout North America and globally, including Suzhou, China, and Shanghai, China
The Silicon Valley branch is also a certified contract manufacturing facility where all production and testing is carried out for OEM appliances and custom built systems. Projects are based on a turnkey process that includes a manufacturing yield analysis—where mechanical quality control, burn-in, imaging, and Quality Assurance (QA) data are reviewed.

Products
In 2008, AMAX introduced a line of high performance computing solutions based on the Nvidia Tesla Personal Supercomputer, featuring the latest GPU technology. The systems are configured with Nvidia Tesla C1060 cards.
