The company was founded in 1980 in San Antonio, Texas. Since its founding, the company has quickly expanded to 8 locations across Texas with its headquarters centrally located in San Antonio.

The company strives to be good stewards of the environment by ensuring that hazardous and toxic materials in old computers and electronics are recycled responsibly and that they do not end up in landfills polluting the environment, to this end they have become an example of responsible recycling by collecting "92% of the volume" for recycling computers and electronics in Texas.

In January 2016 the company was informed that they would have to leave their location in Waco, Texas by TxDOT due to the right-of-way acquisition to make room for the I-35 highway to be widened. This location had served the community for 12 years prior to its closing.
