Alpha Boy

Alpha Boy is the alias of Norman Ritter from Berlin, Germany, a musician known for German electro music.

He began his music career in 1999 under the name Xibalba. Using a Playstation 1 and the computer program Music 2000 he composed numerous experimental pieces in different genres – from classic to tech-house via 2 Step.

In 2009 Alpha Boy composed his first stylistic pieces, which were issued as free releases. In November of the following year he brought out his first commercial EP: The Return Of 1986. This heralded the start of Alpha Boy’s 80’s sound. Alpha Boy released his long awaited EP: Douce Folie in March 2011, and it has been very well received by critics.
