Alliance (band)

Alliance is a MusicAL group formed by Robert Berry (3 - with Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer, GTR - with Steve Howe and briefly with Ambrosia), Alan Fitzgerald (Montrose, Sammy Hagar Band, Night Ranger), David Lauser (Toys, Sammy Hagar Band, The Waboritas, Tres Guezanos), and Gary Pihl (Day Blindness, Crossfire, Norman Greenbaum, Sammy Hagar Band and currently Boston). The common thread here is Sammy Hagar. Fitzgerald, Lauser and Pihl have all spent time with The Red Rocker and even Berry has played with Sammy at his Cabo Wabo nightclub in Mexico. The foursome have been able to record 3 albums while working around their duties with their bigger bands. Their latest album, Road To Heaven - released in 2008, has garnered outstanding reviews from Melodic Rock fans and websites like MelodicRock.com. Previous albums are Alliance (1997) and Missing Piece (1999) which are both featured in a 2 disc compilation Digi-pak with bonus tracks called Destination Known (2007).
