Alleged Barbra Streisand stag film

The alleged Barbra Streisand stag film is a 1960s-era video purported to show [...] between an unknown male and the iconic entertainer before she achieved her fame.

History

The film first started circulating in the late '70s, becoming a curiosity similar to Party at Kitty and Stud's. It is shot in 8mm, and is silent and in sepia tone. Most known copies are very grainy, and the female performer's face is not visible much of the time. It is clear however, that she has a larger-than-average nose that's similar in size and shape to Streisand's. This is The Primary basis for the belief held by some that the actress in the movie is Streisand herself, since performers with large noses were highly uncommon in pornographic films of the time.

Streisand response

Streisand confirmed that she's seen the movie in a 1977 interview with Playboy magazine, saying “I couldn't resist the temptation to see what the actress looked like—and also to check out her performance—so we got a copy. The film, naturally, is very blurred. The girl has long hair, like I did back in the Sixties, although she was chubby, while I was very skinny. But the dead giveaway came when the camera zoomed in on her hands around the guy's you-know-what. There they were: short, stubby fingers! Definitely not mine. So all you would-be buyers, don't waste your money.” 1
