Alessia Piervirgili

Alessia Piervirgili is a well-known columnist in the Haitian-American community.

In 2003, The New York Press Association recognized her as one of the best columnists in New York City.

She was born in 1987 in Rome, Italy, and her articles chronicle the events and people of Haiti. She currently writes a column in the Haitian Times under The Title The Wandering Pen.
