Alan de Jardin

Alan de Jardin is a Manitoba business consultant. In 1984, he ran for the leadership of the Manitoba Liberal Party. At the delegated Manitoba Liberal Party leadership convention of March 4, 1984, where several hundred delegates represented the entire membership of the party, he received 21 votes, against 307 for Sharon Carstairs, who was victorious. Otherwise, he has never run in a federal or provincial election.
