Alan Collins (academic)

Alan Collins is the Head of Department and Professor of Economics at the Portsmouth Business School, Portsmouth University, UK. Professor Collins teaches a wide range of subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, including Environmental Economics and Policy, Managerial Economics, Social Economics, Transport Economics, and Cultural Economics.

Collins is an ACTIVE researcher in other fields, the most significant of which are environmental and natural resource economics, transport economics, and social and cultural economics. He is also on the executive board of the Association of Cultural Economics International (ACEI).
