Al Khalafalla
Al Khalafalla is a leading figure in the immigrants ' communities in the United States of America and Canada. He has a strong record of services in areas such as immigrants' education and integration, interfaith dialogues, and public policies that affect immigrants. He is the executive director of Virginia Institute for Peace(http://www.vipva.us/).
On September 27, of 2008, Khalafalla is appointed as an Ambassador for Peace for his dedication to the African and Middle Eastern Peace Initiatives ; he was appointment by Universal Peace Federation (http://www.upf.org/) , one of the largest Peace Organization in the world.
Education
Khalafalla graduated with a Bachelor of Science from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Master of Business Administration from University of Maryland System, Frostburg State University Campus. He is a PhD. candidate (Public Policy) at Virginia Commonwealth University.Khalafalla is very involved in issues which are related to Peace, Interfaith dailogue , Public Policy , Middle East, and Sudan.

Personal and Family
Al Khalafalla (born Alsadig Omer Khalafalla, April 3, 1968) is a Canadian citizen from Sudanese/Arab African origin.
He is a son of Mr. Justice Omer Khalafalla, Bahrain's Superior Court Judge (1975-Present). Al Khalafalla is a nephew of the late Air Chief General Awad Khalafalla, the former Supreme Commander of Military of Sudan and the former DeFence Minister of Sudan(1974).
