Aisling FitzGibbon

Ashling FitzGibbon also known as The Girl Against Fluoride is a prominent anti-fluoride campaigner in the Republic of Ireland. She started a campaign and took legal action against the Irish Government to stop the addition of fluoride by County Councils to public drinking water. In March 2014, as a result of this campaign and public pressure from politicians, such as Fianna Fáil’s Christopher O’Sullivan, Cork County Council unanimously passed a motion calling on the Government to stop treating the public water supply with fluoride. In July 2013, Aishling FitzGibbon protested semi-[...] outside Saint Stephen's Green shopping centre against mandatory fluoridation of the public water supply. Aishling FitzGibbon lobbied several notable Irish politicians including David Norris (politician), Thomas Pringle (politician) and Brian Stanley (politician).

Both Aisling and her mother, Martha Brassil, have signed a petition in support of Doctor Andrew Wakefield.
