Afraid of Monsters: Directors Cut

Afraid of Monsters: Directors Cut (AoM:DC)is an remake of the original Survival/horror mod for Half-life, Afraid of Monsters. The remake was made by Andreas Rönnberg and James Marchant and was released 31 Oktober 2007.

Changes

The most changed are the flashlight system. The flashlight wont work whithout batteries found in the levels. If the player runs out of batteries the player have to find new or wait until the flashlight slowly recharge on its own. The monsters varie from the quick and scary Zombies , to unnamed twisted imaginations of the player. The game has four different endings, giving the game a higher replay value.

Gameplay

The game is basicly like any other Survival/Horror game, with realism. The player can only carry four weapons at the time and the realistic flashlight system as mentioned before. The mod relys on shock-tactics in order to scare the player, such as monsters breaking throught walls, windows and even hiding behind doors.
