Aeronautics College
Aeronautics College, SUNABEDA, formerly Aeronautics Commerce and Arts College, is a college in the Karaput District of Orissa, India. It was established with the express objective of meeting the academic requirement of the children of the HAL employees beyond school level. The College has been functioning under the aegis of Aeronautics Education Society (an autonomous registered body of HAL) since its inception.
Initially it started with intermediate classes in Arts and Commerce streams affiliated to Berhampur University. Subsequently after the induction of +2 streams, the college was reaffiliated to CHSE(O), Bhubaneswar. Science stream was introduced in 1984. The college is permanently affiliated to CHSE (O) and Berhampur
University for +2 and +3 courses respectively since.
Degree courses in Arts/Commerce/Science opened in 1993. The diligent effort of the college authorities in opening Honours courses in the college bore fruit. In the current session the college offers honours courses in Chemistry, Physics, History, Economics and Commerce. Presently there are 1100 students on the rolls. The present strength of our academia is 44.
Over the years the college has a track record of showing remarkable results at all levels : at Intermediate, +2 and +3 stages. The college has succeeded in accomplishing the best of academics in the undivided Koraput District. Simultaneously the college is believed to be one of the top ranking colleges in the state of Orissa.

It is really a great achievement for a college of 12 years old to have such wide range of collection of books and magazines.
