Aden started his career on the books of Tranmere Rovers as a teenager. After leaving the Prenton Park club, he drifted into the West Cheshire League with his local side Blacon Youth Club.

In March 2003, he signed for Flexsys Cefn Druids, scoring a last minute clincher at Park Hall Stadium against Oswestry Town F.C. the day before his 23rd birthday.

The 2003-04 season was a sensation for Aden, scoring a hat-trick against Afan Lido F.C. on 7 September and four goals against Welshpool Town on 24 January. Despite personal problems halfway through the season and unsubstantiated rumours of a rift with Cefn manager and friend Steve O'Shaughnessy, Ade scored 19 goals in 21 Welsh Premier starts that season.

He left Cefn following the surprising dismissal of Steve O'Shaughnessy in 2004.

In 99 Welsh Premier appearances at the end of the 2006-07 season, Aden has scored an impressive 48 goals
