Adam George

Adam George (born 24 November 1989) is a British musician based in Manchester.

Early life

George was born in Manchester, England. He grew up in a suburb of Manchester and began playing music at the age of 10. George was trained classically as a musician on the piano and vocally and sang with the Hallé Youth Choir and Hallé Choir.

Early career

His musical training in popular music began in 2008 when he studied popular music at the Royal Northern College of Music. Amongst his tutors at University were Jazz Trumpeter Neil Yates, session guitarist Johnny Heyes, bass guitarist Mauricio Pauly and session drummers Bryan Hargreaves and Andy Stott. After graduating in 2010, George co-founded the Manchester based covers band, The Session. This is where his love for blues music came and he began teaching himself the guitar.

In May 2012, George joined a soul and motown covers band, Soulvation as a keyboard player and vocalist.

In August 2012, George joined blues and country band, Built For Comfort as a keyboard player and bass guitarist.
