Adam Ely

Adam Ely is a cybersecurity expert, co-founder of Bluebox Security (acquired 2016), published author, expert source for news agencies. Ely's two decades of experience have made him a frequent requested presenter on cybersecurity at international conferences and events.
Ely founded the CISOFund in 2019 to provide education assistance to who are entering the cybersecurity workforce which provided over $90,000 USD in aid within the first year.
Overview
Born in California, Ely grew up in Milton, Florida with fellow Milton High School alumni Bubba Watson and went on to attend Florida State University. Ely's career lead him to Silicon Valley where he raised $27 million in venture capital and founded the enterprise software company Bluebox Security which was acquired by .
Ely is currently Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer with Walmart. Prior to this role he co-founded Bluebox Security, acquired in 2016, was the CISO of Salesforce's Heroku business unit, and led security and compliance at TiVo and within The Walt Disney Company.
