'''Acoustic Americana''' was a [[record label]] that was formed in [[2005 in music|2005]] to promote the unamplified genres that make up [[Americana]]. In April of 2005, the label issued its first CD, "Forever True" by [[Dead Men's Hollow]]. The group and recording were nominated for six 2005 [[Washington Area Music Awards|Wammie Awards]] by the [[Washington Area Music Association]]. The group won three: Best Bluegrass Duo/Group, Best Bluegrass Recording, and Best Debut Recording.
