Abdul Malik Khan
Abdul Malik Khan is a Pakistani former professional squash player. He competed on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour and reached a career-high world ranking of No. 155 in October 2021.
Early life and education
Khan was born in Quetta, Pakistan. He later moved to the United States for higher education.
He studied Accounting at Chatham University, where he also minored in Data Science and Management. He served as Student Government President during his time at the university. He later completed a master's degree in Accounting from Cornell University.
Squash career
Junior career
Khan represented Pakistan in junior international squash competitions.He was ranked Pakistan No. 1 in 2018. He competed at the 2016 British Junior Open in Sheffield, reaching the pre-quarter-final stage. He also represented Pakistan at the 2018 British Junior Open. He participated in the 2017 Asian Junior Team Championships representing Pakistan. He also competed at the 2017 World Junior Championships in New Zealand, where he won the plate event. He reached the semifinal stage of the 2017 Asian Junior Individual Squash Championships after defeating Adhitya Raghavan of India 3–11, 11–9, 7–11, 11–5, 11–8 in the second round and Lam Yat Ting of Hong Kong 6–11, 10–12, 11–7, 11–4, 11–9 in the quarter-finals, before facing top seed Mohammad Al-Saraj of Jordan in the semifinals.
Professional career
Khan joined the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour in 2017 and reached a career-high ranking of No. 155 in October 2021. He competed in PSA events, including satellite-level tournaments, where Pakistani players collectively achieved multiple international wins during 2024. He competed in the Johns Creek Open in Georgia. He also participated in the Squash on Fire Open Wild Card Challenge in 2024. He has been associated with collegiate squash programs in the United States during his career.
Coaching career
Following his playing career, Khan has worked in coaching, including involvement with The Hotchkiss School squash program during its 2026 championship season.
