Aarushi (actress)

Aarushi (born 20 August 1993) is an Indian film and stage actress. Aarushi has acted in Tamil, and Telugu films.

Early life

Aarushi was born on 20 August 1993 in Bangalore. She did her schooling in Bangalore. Currently she is doing her Bsc Bio technology in Oxford College.

Career

Aarushi did her first film, the Kannada film Hendithge Helthini starring Vishnuvardhan, as a child artiste when she was in class one. It was her only film as a child actist and she stated that her grandfather wanted her to concentrate on studies. She was 15 years old when she was offered her first advertisement and started her modelling career. Since then she has appeared in over 3000 advertisements in several languages.

15 years after her first film, she made her debut in a lead role in the Tamil romance film Alagan Alagi directed by Nanda Periyasamy, which featured her as one of 34 debutants. The film received mixed reviews, but The New Indian Express wrote that she "does well". Post Alagan Alagi she signed on two more Tamil films Adithalam and Ganja Karuppu's Velmurugan Borewells, both opposite actor Mahesh. Her debut Telugu film was Premantene Chitram, which released during Diwali 2013.

Currently she is doing two Telugu films Prabhanjanam and Heroine Missing.
