Accreditations and affiliations
In 2005, AAB was accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as an ACCA Approved Employer as a result of which, AAB joined nearly 8,500 companies around the world who are Approved Employers, including Citibank, BP, HSBC, KPMG, World Bank, PepsiCo, ABN AMRO and GlaxoSmithKline.
In 2006, AAB was rated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan as a firm with satisfactory QCR Rating. The firm was again awarded a satisfactory QCR Rating in 2009.
In 2007, AAB became an independent member firm of Leading Edge Alliance - a global network of over 140 independently owned accounting and consulting firms in over 90 countries. In 2009, LEA was ranked as the Third Largest Global Accounting Firm Association by the International Accounting Bulletin.

Mirza Asad Ali Baig | Partner - Audit and Assurance
Mirza Asad Ali Baig is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors - US.
With over 14 years of relevant experience, Asad heads the Audit and Assurance practice of AAB. Prior to founding AAB in 2002, Asad was associated with Ernst & Young’s member firm in Pakistan.
Urooj Ahmed | Partner - Accountancy Services and Corporate Consulting
Urooj is an associate Chartered Accountant and also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors - US. Urooj joined AAB in 2003 and brought with him diversity and rich experience he gained during his association with Ernst & Young's member firm in Pakistan and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, where he served as Manager Examinations.
Urooj heads the Corporate Consulting and Accountancy Services Division.
Ahson Tariq | Partner - Business Risk Services and Training
Ahson, heads the Business Risk Services and Training Division of AAB. Prior to joining AAB in 2002, Ahson was associated with Ernst and Young's member firm in Pakistan from 1997 till 2002.
Ahson has been involved in corporate trainings of personnel of several large and medium-size organizations in Pakistan. Ahson is a Chartered Accountant, an associate Public Finance Accountant and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors - US.
Training
AAB is an approved Training Organization for Chartered Accountant students registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, an approved CIMA Training Partner and an accredited ACCA Approved Employer.
AAB Resource Center
In 2007, AAB launched a resource center - an online knowledge and information-sharing portal for Accountants, Auditors, Insurers, Bankers and Entrepreneurs as well as for teachers & students of ICAP, ICAEW, ICAI, ACCA, AAT and related business and finance fields.
AAB Resource Center is non-commercial and is an active promoter of Open Educational Resources (OER). OER are teaching and learning materials from around the world that are freely available online for everyone to use, whether you are an instructor, student, professional or self-learner.
