A Look at Nature

A Look at Nature is a video series produced by Black Fire Productions and Jack Webb Entertainment. Currently, ten episodes have been completed. Its first "set" was released in May of 2008, and its second in September of 2009. A third installment is said to be underway.

So far, the episodes have focused on hiking trails in and around Orange County. In an interview with producer/director/creator, Cole Webb Harter, he announced that the third set will center in northern California.

History

In July 2007, creator Cole Webb Harter saw some hummingbirds play around on a feeder. He decided to film it and see what he could get. This short, ten-minute film became the series' first episode, "The Feeder". Harter took the footage to Jack Webb from the aforementioned Jack Webb Entertainment. The hummingbird footage was produced, and the series was started. The two men formed a partnership between Black Fire Productions and Jack Webb Entertainment.

In August of the same year, a pilot presentation was produced entitled "The Sanctuary". This was well received, but the official premiere episode was not shot until February 2008.

The partnership between Jack Webb and Cole Webb Harter continues into the third set.

Production

Episodes of A Look at Nature are produced sporadically, sometimes with long intervals between episodes.
