A. J. Burnett (meteorologist)

A.J. Burnett is a television meteorologist for WFXT FOX25 in the Boston area. He grew up in Centerville, Massachusetts and graduated in 1992 from Barnstable High School. He then attended and graduated from Rutgers University in 1996 with a B.S. Degree in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology.

Burnett has worked as a meteorologist at FOX25 since 2004, although he was a freelance meteorologist for the station from 2000-2004. He usually appears weekends at 10pm (11pm on Sundays as well). He also reports occasionally and fills in for the other meteorologists.

Burnett is a member of the American Meteorological Society and has held the AMS Television Seal of Approval since 2005.

In his free time, Burnett volunteers with the Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. There, he has served as Honorary Chairperson for the annual 'Make the Link' Golf Tournament (2006-present), and was named to the MA/NH Chapter's Advisory Committee in 2009. He also enjoys photography and bike riding.
