A. HUSSAIN

A.Hussain (locally celebrated as Pavalar A. Hussain or Unarvu Pavalar Hussain) was born on 18th December 1952. He is a highly prolific writer who has authored over 50 works. He is a Tamil Islamic Writer and school lecture. He was born in Madukarai,Puducherry. He currently resides in the Lawspet (Ilasupettai) region of Puducherry. Children and Youth Art and Literary Development Academy, a regional literary and cultural guild founded and run by Dr. A. Hussain in Puducherry. He has conducted research on historical Tamil poets, with a focus on classical Venpa poetic metrics and the documentation of regional literary patrons. He has also chaired critical review sessions analyzing Islamic Tamil scriptures and contemporary poetry at regional literary forums, including the 15th Islamic Tamil Literature Conference.He delivers public lectures and academic text analyses at the Puducherry Tamil Sangam, focusing on classical Tamil texts such as the Thirukkural and the works of Subramania Bharati.Senthamizh Vallal Seethakkathi Agapporul Kovai (2013) by him, is a research monograph and literary commentary focusing on the 17th-century Tamil philanthropist and arts patron Seethakkathi. The work explores The Intersection of Islamic patronage and classical Tamil poetic forms,and was recognized with the Best Book Award by the Sekkizhar Research Center.
