470 Express Pierrefonds

The 470 Express Pierrefonds is a express bus route in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM). The route operates 7 days a week between the hours of 5 AM and 1:30 AM and is a wheelchair accessible route. It serves the boroughs of Pierrefonds-Roxboro and Dollard-des-Ormeaux. It has 23 stops in the eastbound direction and 18 stops in the westbound direction. It is also linked to Côte-Vertu Station of the Montreal Metro's orange line. It is the STM's 30th busiest bus route serving an average of 8,168 daily passengers on an average weekday. The fare is $3.00 cash (coins only) or an STM transit pass.

Schedule

This route started out in 2005 as a rush hour service only but has since become a very popular route with passengers living in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro. Due to the popularity of the route it is now part of the STM's 10 Minutes Max network, which means the routes is served by a bus at maxim intervals of 10 minutes or less between the hours of 6 AM and 9 PM during the week days, however during rush hour intervals are 8 minutes. On the week-end schedules are at intervals of 20 during the day and 30 minutes during the morning and late evening. Also, it's the only daytime route (excluding the 747) to start before a night route ends, heading in the same direction. (The 470 starts at 4:37, and the last 382 is at 4:50. on Sunday morning.)
