2017 Thailand Amateur League Northern Region

2017 Thailand Amateur League Northern Region is the 1st season of the League competition since its establishment in 2017. It is in the fifth tier of the Thai football league system.

• Qualification round of Upper Northern Region zone All matches played in Maejo University of San Sai District, Chiang Mai

• Qualification round of Lower Northern Region zone All matches played in Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University of Mueang Nan District, Nan and Naresuan University stadium, Phitsanulok

• First round of Group A All matches played in Phayao Provincial Stadium of Phayao and Huai Ma stadium of Mueang Phrae District, Phrae

• First round of Group B All matches played in Naresuan University stadium, Phitsanulok and Phitsanulok Province Stadium of Phitsanulok

• Final round match played in Thung Hong Stadium of Mueang Phrae District, Phrae

Member clubs

Format

Qualification stage: A total 22 clubs will be divided into two zones. Upper zone of Northern Region and Lower zone of Northern Region will play single-elimination stage. The best six clubs of each zone will qualify to the round-robin

Group stage: A total of 12 clubs which has qualified from Qualification stage will be divided into two groups of six clubs to play round-robin. matches at a neutral venue. The best two clubs of each group will qualify to the knock-out stage.

Knock-out stage: A total of 2 clubs which has qualified from the group stage will play single-elimination stage until there are only two finalists of the tournament.
