2014 All Star Band tour
2014 All Star Band Tour is a concert tour by American singer-songwriter James Taylor his first after taking a one-year writing sabbatical. Launched in Portland on May 30, 2014 the tour helped support James Taylor's new music which would not be released until June, 2015. The tour was the first to say and his all star band in the title.
Background
The tour was announced in February 2014, with initially only summer US amphitheatre dates. But in August and September Fall Arena dates were announced. The Tour later went into Europe in March and April 2015. During this tour something that some may have never heard of was established where fans could stand in line to meet the singer at Intermission.
