August

The Lambs began their 2012/13 season campaign away at newly promoted side Dartford. The game ended in a 3-2 win, thanks to a goal from Peter Till and a brace by Adam Cunnington. The next game was a home tie against last seasons League Two side Hereford United. After a somewhat poor start, conceding an early goal and gifting a penalty, The Lambs seemed to come alive in the second half, forcing an early goal scored by Tommy Wright and that man Adam Cunnington found himself on the scoresheet once again scoring 87 minute equaliser to secure a point. Up next was a visit from Stockport County, Tamworth managed to edge out a 1-0 win thanks to a stoppage time goal from Sam Oji, his first for the club. Tamworth then faced an away trip to Southport. The Lambs went on to win the game 3-0 thanks to goals from Charlie Collins, Tommy Wright and a penalty converted by Adam Cunnington.
