2012 Detroit City FC season
The 2012 Detroit City FC season was the inaugural season of Detroit City Football Club. The team played in the National Premier Soccer League, the fourth-tier of American soccer.
In City FC's first season, Le Rouges finished second in their division, but were knocked out in the first round of the NPSL Playoffs, losing in the Divisional Semifinals to AFC Cleveland in the first round. The club played a handful of friendlies against youth teams from the area, as well as a cross river team from Windsor, Ontario.
