2010 Ohio State University shooting

The 2010 Ohio State University shooting happened on 9 March 2010, when an armed gunman opened fire at Ohio State University, [...] an employee and wounding two.

Gunman

The shooter was Nathaniel Brown, 51, who had recently been informed that he would be fired on March 13, after an "unsatisfactory" job evaluation.

Shooting

The shooting happened at 3:30 A.M. local time, when the gunman entered a maintenence building with six people inside, armed with two handguns, and opened fire, causing three casualties. No others were hit. Early reports indicated that Brown had committed [...], but it was confirmed by police that he had been taken into custody.

Victims

Building Service Manager Larry Wallington, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other employees were wounded, and taken to hospital. Operations Shift Leader Henry Butler was declared to be in stable condition, while another employee was declared to be in critical condition.
