The Story
Torjen chronicles the journey of the knights who, gathered by King Bracchus of Seqwana, seek to rescue the world from the might of Emperor Brucius and his unbeatable Legionnaires. The knights travel to the dwarfen island of Apath, a cursed isle with a number of mines running beneath it. When they meet with King Triton, he reveals a map passed down through his family line to a mysterious, ancient artifact, the Orb of Torjen. No one knows what the Orb is capable of except that it guarantees victory in battle. With the map safe in hand, the knights follow the words written upon it and visit the "four pillars that hold up the sky," each with its own ancient magic protecting it.
The knights travel across Upperworld to find the Pillars of stone, steel, wood, and mirror. At each pillar, strong creatures and advesaries are summoned by the pillars' magic, placing the knights in extreme danger every step of their quest.
It is revealed early on that Andross is deeply in love, and a traitor is within the midst of the knights.
When they finally arrive at the last pillar, Jason, Andross and Jiffra ascend into a pan-dimensional state and convene with the creators of the Orb. They are granted its immense power and, guided by the beings, they meet again with the other knights and ride up to Brucius himself. The book closes directly following the usage of the orb and the fate of each knight and king.

In olden days people were used to painting on canvas. In the recent years it was replaced by Graphic tools on PC. It is predicted that for the next generation these canvas and PC tools would disappear. The canvas would be replaced by web tools. A lot of interest has been put by leading technologists to develop a platform, which would give the feeling of a canvas and the flexibility of the PC graphic tools.

relates specifically to discussions on sustainability and the requirement for all of us to learn to be in action in order to make a difference in our environmental (or other) outcomes, currently human beings are not good at this at all (i.e. taking theory and putting into practice).
derived from meaning of the word practice - "repetition of an activity in order to achieve mastery and fluency"(Collins Dictionary, 1987).
term coined by Mr Greg Bruce an Environmental Manager and recently presented in a paper given at a Sustainability Conference in Chennai, India (3rd International Conference on Environmental, Cultural, Economic, & Social Sustainability, University of Madras, January 2007).
