The Security Age is a term used by some to refer to the post-9/11 era, in which security has been increased in numerous venues, such as airports, government buildings, and international borders. It is commonly a critical reference to the level of security, and the need for its amount. Though security has drastically increased since 9/11, there were many security measures that were implemented in prior decades that can also be considered part of what some would call the "security age."

Video surveillance
Video surveillance has been around in widespread use for at least a few decades, though the amount has increased in urban areas since 9/11. While previously viewed as a crime-fighting tool, the addition of video surveillance in the post-9/11 era has often been justified as a terrorism prevention measure. Critics question whether or not video surveillance has the ability to stop a terrorist attack.

Yippis on the Rise
"Yippis on the Rise" is a section that is dedicated to helping emerging artists get discovered. Users are able to categorize themselves in to the 13 categories listed above as well as additional professions. Yippi.com users have the ability to vote daily for their favorite user in each category, giving these users a higher ranking (and presumably more exposure) on the site. Each category has a "Top 20" section where the top 20 highest ranking users in that category are listed, giving those users a chance to gain exposure for their work.

TuneDNA application enables to easily load and match anyone's Musical DNA (someone's Musical preferences). Taken into the Musical DNA are (apart from the the Audio specific data) iTunes / iPod Play Counts and Ratings. Both of this data are used to score a top 500 track list that makes someone's Musical DNA.

TuneDNA is then able to match these DNAs together to propose material that is likely to appeal to someone that has contributed previously. Furthermore it enables people with similar taste to efficiently get in contact with each other.

TuneDNA is freeware and applies a zero tolerance Privacy Policy.

TuneDNA is published by DigiDNA.

was a Japanese supercentenarian. Kawamoto was the oldest recognized people in the world for more than a year, until she died at age 113 years and 103 days. However, she was not mentioned as such in the 1976 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records though her case was accepted by the Japanese authorities. Every book since mentions her and her successor, the much more famous Shigechiyo Izumi, also from Japan, who is still recognized by Guinness as the oldest man ever, although many people doubt this claim.
