PH-DVD is a proposed optical storage format which aims to surpass Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD in storage capacity, where "PH" stands for Polar High-definition. It was publicly announced on March 30, 2006, by a company called Polarizonics Corp. The company claims it has created a disc that will store up to 100GB, by using "the polarization element contained in all current DVD formats which is not being used for the physical encoding of the information on the disc".
Dr. Oron Zachar, founder of Polarizonics Corp has suggested that PH-DVD will increase the capacity of current blue laser and red laser optical storage devices threefold and might allow the use of red laser devices and discs to store HD content. Also, the PH-DVD format might be implemented on a short timescale, because it "requires no change in the disc structure itself, and present mass replication equipment can be used without modification or additional costs."

Bleak Hill Rovers JFC is a junior football club in St Helens, Merseyside. It is one of the largest in St Helens if not the largest and is also one of the longest reigning junior football clubs.
History
Formed in 1977 originally to take part in a 5-a-side competition at Ruskin Drive Park, St Helens. The lads who competed in the tournament enjoyed it so much that they decided to form a team to play regular league football on a weekly basis. So for the 1977/78 season the first Bleak Hill Rovers side joined the under 11s 11-a-side St Helens JOL. For the first two seasons the team played at Bleak Hill Primary School field, St Helens. After these two years the side moved to play its football on the Ecclesfield playing fields in Eccleston, St Helens.
2007-2008 Season
For the 2007-2008 season the club will have many age groups playing in a variety of leagues. The under 7s, 8s, 9s & 10s mixed teams will play in the Rainhill & St. Helens Mini-Soccer League. The boys under 11s will play in the Rainhill youth league and the boys under 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s and 16s will play in the Wigan and District youth football league. The girls U10s, U12s, U14s & U16s play in the Liverpool County FA Girls League. Also the boys under 17s and 18s play in the South Lancs league.
The Bleak Hill boys Under 16s are currently top of the table (february 6th 2008) but suffered a debilitating loss at the weekend to Springview, whom the under 16s had already knocked out of the cup. These two top of the table giants will meet again later in the season with the winner of the fixture likely to go on to the league title.

The WiiKey is a modchip for the Wii video game console. When installed, it allows the console to run Wii and Nintendo GameCube backups as well as various homebrew applications. The WiiKey was made publicly available in February 2007 and is one of the most popular modchips for the Wii.
The WiiKey has had negative experiences with customers due to the creators failing to release a promised update on schedule. However, on September 26, 2007, the official firmware update was released on the WiiKey website. This update contains several new features such as DVD9 compatibility and a working audio fix for certain GameCube games that experienced incompatibility previously.
While the programmers for several other modchips were able to create an update for Super Mario Galaxy in a matter of hours, the programmers for Wiikey have taken significantly longer. The firmware update was released on November 1, 2007. Since then, numerous users have reported that the 1.9g beta update has gradually impaired their Wii's ability to read backups and originals, in some cases leading to complete inoperability of the console.
Though the majority are still in perfect working order.
On January 31, 2008, WiiNewz reported that the WiiKey Team is currently working on a fix for original copies of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, which does not run on WiiKey systems. They are also working on a dual layer disc dumper.
On February 3, 2008, a single layer backup version of Super Smash Brothers Brawl was released, which solved the problem that the Wiikey had with running the game. However this release contains only the multi-player mode, with the game crashing should the single play mode or a cinematic be started.
On February 4, 2008, a dual layer backup version of Super Smash Brothers Brawl was released. Within hours it popped up on many wii related forums that the game is compatible with the Wiikey, complete with videos showing the insertion, and booting of the discs.
There are still reports of errors with the WiiKey and Brawl and in some cases Super Mario Galaxy.
WiiKey Website
In early January 2008, the official Wiikey website was taken offline, and has remained offline since then. This has led many to believe that the modchip was abandoned by the development team. It has been reported that the team stated they were forced to take the site offline as a result of multiple hackers targeting the site, and it became unmaintainable. Development on the WiiKey has supposedly continued, however.
