Klokshopkids was founded in Beaumont, Texas by Raymond Gage III in 1995. His interest in writing stories started when would tell his son bedtimes stories everynight. His mother would overhear him telling the stories and she though he should do that for a living. He then started writing these stories and created audio versions of the stories and started selling them (the stories are available at the . He went 11 years with his stories but had no way to show what the characters actually looked like. In 2006 he met a young artist by the name of LeTony W. Hadnot Jr. Ever since then He and LeTony have been working together to create wonderful stories for children and parents alike to enjoy.
The Klokshopkids collection is more than just a group of stories, It’s a passage to levels of achievements that are only found with in the lives of ourselves as kids. Being a problem child himself, Raymond Gage III (CEO and Author) was faced with the disappointment of not quite adding up. Because of this, he created within himself a way to motivate self-esteem by refusing to accept how others viewed him. Through each story, he shares those skills in a full collaboration of characters, all with an individual story to share of their own. While enjoying these stories, Raymond hopes your child will see themselves or someone they know and connect with their achievement in that particular situation.
