Underwater communication is a technique of sending and receiving message below water. There are several ways of doing such communication but the most common is using hydrophones. Under water communication is difficult due to factors like multi-path propagation, time variations of the channel, small available bandwidth and strong signal attenuation, especially over long ranges. In underwater communication there are low data rates compared to terrestrial communication, since underwater communication uses acoustic waves instead of electromagnetic waves.
Use of vector sensor receivers
A vector sensor is capable of measuring important non-scalar components of the acoustic field such as the wave velocity, which cannot be obtained by a single scalar pressure sensor. In recent decades, extensive research has been conducted on the theory and design of vector sensors. They have been mainly used for underwater target localization and SONAR applications.
Earlier underwater acoustic communication systems have been relying on scalar sensors only, which measure the pressure of the acoustic field. Vector sensors measure the scalar and vector components of the acoustic field in a single point in space, therefore can serve as a compact multichannel receiver. This is different from the existing multichannel underwater receivers, which are composed of spatially separated pressure-only sensors, which may result in large-size arrays. In general, there are two types of vector sensors: inertial and gradient. Inertial sensors truly measure the velocity or acceleration by responding to the acoustic medium motion, whereas gradient sensors employ a finite-difference approximation to estimate the gradients of the acoustic field such as velocity and acceleration.
In the example of vector sensor communications shown, there is one transmitter pressure transducer, shown by a black dot, whereas for reception we use a vector sensor, shown by a black square, which measures the pressure and the y and z components of the velocity. This is a 1×3 single-input multiple-output (SIMO) system. With more pressure transmitters, one can have a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system also.

Mincing Fury and Guttural Clamour of Queer Decay (MFAGCOQD) is a Czech deathgrind band. MFAGCOQD was formed in 1996 by vocalist Topi (also the lead singer in the band Pigsty) and guitarist Mrkev. For the first four years they couldn't play music because they didn't own any instruments. Instead they sat in the pub and drank beer, and talked about the band.
In 2000 bass player Rybiz joined and they started to play. At first Topi stood in as the drummer, but was very bad. In 2001 Cibula joined and took over drumming duties. The band began to play a very fast style of grindcore.
In February 2002, Reef (ANTITREND zine) joined the band as the second vocalist. One month later the band entered studio Policna to record their debut album titled "Lamentations". It consisted of 14 tracks and an intro in furious deathgrind style.
Discography:
* Lamentations (2002)
* No Jokes with Devils (2003)
* La-mentations (2003)
* Eye for Eye (2004)
* 7 (2005)

Galleries and companies
Opened Java Street Art Cafe Coffee House in St. Petersburg Florida in 1994 after moving there from Columbus and selling several paintings at Columbus coffee houses. Java Street was a coffee house and art gallery on the historic Jannus Landing block in downtown St. Pete. It featured new artists every month, hosted art openings, open mic nights, live music with bands such as Car Bomb Driver, Garage in Africa and many many others. Java Street was a major staple in the St. Petersburg art scene in 1994 and 1995. In the 14 months it was open over 40 different local and regional bands played there as well as showing artwork from countless local artists.
In 1995 Java Street closed due to financial problems and later that year he and his future wife Jessica Warren launched Create Visions Publishing and Design and published several local magazines including The Hitchikers Guide to St. Petersburg, MHz Magazine and EAT (Entertainment, Art, Technology) Magazine. He also helped David Hundley produce Focus magazine, a local Tampa Bay music weekly.
In 1997 Creative Visions moved to doing strictly web design and development and was eventually acquired by InteReach Internet, a now defunct ISP based in Atlanta. In 2002 he resurrected the development company as Vexcom Internet Solutions and is currently CEO and runs Vexcom on a daily basis.
Under the direction of Wesley and Jessica Warren, Vexcom has grown from a two person operation to a thriving development company based in Roswell Georgia that employs over 12 people and develops and manages advanced web applications used by many Fortune 500 companies.
