The Campaign of the Mud (, ) was a military expedition during the Arab–Khazar wars in the 8th century. Umayyad forces invaded Khazaria and engaged an army commanded personally by the Khagan. Medieval chroniclers gave the campaign its name because the battles were fought under torrential rains that turned the ground into impassable mud.

Ahmed Gul Khel is one of the numerous clans of the Sighaal division of the Awan tribe. The tiny hamlet where the clan resides is known as Dhoke Ahmed Gul Khel, which is a part of Kalri village in Tehsil and District Mianwali of Punjab, Pakistan. The Ghibizai is a sub-clan of the Awanzai clan, which itself is a part of the larger Awan tribe. Ghibizai's are found in Balochistan and Afghanistan.
