Dora Gets Grounded (also known as Dora the Explorer Gets Grounded or the Dora Gets Grounded Series) is a American teen-adult animated comedy web series created by Samster5677. It is a parody of Dora the Explorer.
During the most common cases, Dora is a troublemaker that doesn't listen to her mother. In these videos, she is commonly seen throwing tantrums, using swear words, abusing Boots, causing destruction, getting grounded and receiving punishments. However, in Dora Gets Ungrounded videos, she is usually depicted as a non-troublemaker, similar to Caillou Gets Ungrounded videos. In some cases, Dora has the unwarranted belief that she is in a video game or a TV show and sometimes likes to talk to an unseen audience of children excessively to the point it's very bothering and repetitive. She tends to break the 4th wall more often than most characters. She also sometimes has some dependence on a blue cursor to help her find things. In some videos, Dora developed a romantic relationship with Caillou and a rivalry against Little Bill and Arthur. Though in other videos, her sidekicks can be Little Bill and/or Caillou, and in a few, she considers Caillou her enemy.
